Real conversations Every session is a spoken conversation with Roo. Roo listens, answers by voice, and its words appear on screen as it speaks.
Real-life missions Order at a café, find an apartment, make plans with a friend: short missions that follow a journey, chapter by chapter, from complete beginner to fluent.
Gentle corrections Roo corrects you as you go, notes what you keep getting wrong and brings it back in later sessions. The recap shows how to say the words that tripped you up.
Your phrasebook Every phrase you learn goes into your phrasebook, ready to hear again. You can see what Roo remembers about you, and delete any of it.
Help when you're stuck Ask Roo to say it again, more slowly, or to explain, with one tap. You can type an answer instead of saying it.
Explained in your language Roo explains in English, Spanish, French, German or Portuguese, and speaks to your level.

The Roo Club is an auto-renewable subscription, monthly or yearly, through the App Store. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.

Your privacy

Roo runs on Google's Gemini AI. During a session, your voice, what you type and what Roo remembers about you go to Google so that Roo can answer, and the app asks for your permission first. We don't keep recordings of your voice; we keep the written transcript of each session for 90 days. You can see and delete what Roo remembers, or your whole account, in the app.
